The mission is gaining momentum as people are engaging themselves in this “Journey with a purpose“.. Dr. Narayanan Kutty of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre accompanied our cyclist early in the morning from Trivandrum for 15 Km on her 2nd day of the journey. Unity in diversity was evident when people along the way saluted our Tri colour on Ms Chokens cycle. At another stop for Unity in diversity was evident when people along the way saluted our Tri colour on Ms Chokens cycle. At another stop for water our cyclist was overwhelmed by the chanting of Vande Mataram by people in respect. Sunita comes from Haryana which is known for its rustic delicacy of Parathas laden with typical Luni ghee, Today our lady enjoyed a delicious meal of layered parathas offered by a wayside eatery in the lush green countryside of Kerala.
Her todays journey concluded at Kayakulam a small town in country side of Kerala, where Rama Krishna Mission Asharam offered a night stay. This ashram is working in mission mode for tribal upliftment; running a residential school for Tribal Children. Our cyclist interacted with children and spoke to them on social sensitivity and environment conservation.
Special thanks to the “Omni Sangha” NGO for supporting this noble mission.
