5 Tips to prevent skin damage while travelling

We often neglect our skin while we travel all the way through the beautiful places, which eventually leaves our skin tanned and dull after the retreat is over. Keeping the regular skin care routine is not so feasible task when we are on a trip. Besides carrying scarves, hats and sunglasses, these few on the go tips can definitely keep the damage away while you enjoy.

1.  Hydrate yourself: Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated and fresh. Our skin needs even more water Waterwhen we are walking or hiking. Coconut water and fresh fruit juices are also good choices to indulge in.

 

 

2.  Splurge on sunscreens: Apply good SPF 35 ++ all over the exposed body parts at least twice a day while you travel. Dermatologists advise that protecting the skin from harmful UV is a must.Sunscreen

 

 

3. Cleansers, wet wipes and hand sanitizers: Keep wet tissues handy to clean the  sweat and dust off the face. Keeping the hands clean using sanitizer is also useful in preventing unnecessary breakouts on the face.

 

4. MakeupMakeup Strict No No: Foundations and powders should not be preferred on the trip as they tend to clog the pores and can make you look cakey. Minimal things like a tinted moisturizer and lip balms with SPF will help make you look perfect in the photographs’.

 

 

5. Enough sleep: Try getting a good sleep whenever possible during the trip to avoid puffy eyes and help keep the skin look fresh.sleep

  1. The best way is to go natural. But yes some toner for the skin and kajal and liner for the eyes with a dash of lipgloss/lipstick is just what you need to have that glam traveller look
